1993. Counting on the neutral privatisation of the outpatient service sector we have established Kardirex Healthcare Centre in Gy?r, the first private medical and cardiological clinic operated by a team of doctors in a business form. By that time we have already believed in the concentration of technical and professional potentials. Our aim was to provide definitive care within the framework of outpatient service.
1994. In the interest of healthcare without waiting we have organized a medical specialist network in the private sector. Before the appearance of the "obligatory" market economy we already had service relations with 12 companies. Following the screening of diseases and disorders at the early stage our aim was the definite healthcare, but not only in the field of occupational diseases.
1995. Development of basic occupational and health care. The government order of 89/95 stated that employers are obliged to provide basic occupational and health care. Our partners belonged to companies, where the socially sensitive and rationally thinking management realized that health is valuable, and its preservation, improvement and recuperation is public interest, not the interest of the patient, the employee or the healthcare service only.
They knew that time is money and time away from work means lost money.
They also knew that better health means better workability as well as better motivation, and increased attachment to work increases productivity.
1996. We were the first to receive licence to practice and operate an occupational and healthcare clinic.
1997. With the opening of the occupational and healthcare clinic we were able to provide examinations required for the judgement of workability within the facility.
1998. Organising the occupational and healthcare centre.
We have developed a multidiscipline clinic serving as professional background for our basic care service. Considering its function it was already operating as a screening centre.
1999. In accordance with the minimum conditions of the occupational and healthcare we also provided X-ray diagnostic.
We have integrated dental care into our healthcare system.
2000. We have added two gyms, therapeutic gymnastics and physiotherapy to our service. With these services we have tried to improve the neglected possibilities for rehabilitation.
On the Regional Conciliation Forum medical and non-medical hours offered by Kardirex were unanimously accepted. The National Healthcare Fund received the offered capacity, although financing contract hasn't been signed yet on outpatient healthcare.
2003. We have established a work hygiene team, which helps to its partners in risk analysis in work health and work safety matters obligatory to employees by law.
We take part in the post-graduate education of our medical colleagues as an accredited institute for the Semmelweis University's 24-month special occupational and healthcare education.
2004. Establishment of the work psychology laboratory, which is a regionally appointed institute for psychological suitability examinations for firemen and persons usin firearms.
2005. Operation of Bábolna Healthcare Centre financed by the National Healthcare Fund.
